Shiraz was born in 2008 and was awarded Premium at her GOV inspection.  She is a beautifully built and very correct young mare with a superb temperament. She is sired by Donates, who, in 2008, won USEF Reserve Champion DSHB sire. Donates is excelling in his dressage career and has competed at Fourth level and PSG in Forida in 2008 with consistent scores in the high 60s.  He has recently fulfilled all requirements to earn his lifetime stallion approval through performance.  Donates brings some of the most sought after bloodlines to the breeding equation.  Donates' sire is Diamond Hit (sired by Blue Hors Don Shufro) and his dam sire is Rubinstein I.   This is certainly classic European breeding.  Shiraz is out of our foundation broodmare Sazarac by Martini, who stood either first or second on the USDF list of top ten dressage sires for over 8 years.  His offspring are forward, sensible and show excellent movement.  Shiraz' dam line is from the older Trakehner line of Solling, which is hard to find here in the US.  Shiraz is a very light and powerful mover with a lot of presence.  She has clean x-rays which we will happily share.
